1. Navigation Across the Oceans, Earth, and Space@ Pint Chicago (Monday, December 5) – The Chicago Council of Science and Technology is hosting their “speakeasy series,” which combines learning and a casual environment. For this session, Dr. Andrew Johnston who oversees research at the Adler Planetarium will be facilitating a discussion at this Wicker Park bar on how astronauts experimented with techniques similar to ship navigators centuries ago. 2. Jerry Seinfeld @ Chicago Theater (Thursday and Friday, December 8-9) – No introduction needed here. Jerry Seinfeld is performing stand-up on Thursday and Friday. 3. Walk the Lights @ 606 Trail (Sunday, December 11) – Gather your friends, family, block club, school group, customers or co-workers to walk the Bloomingdale Trail from Milwaukee/Leavitt Park to Ridgeway Avenue where there will be fire pits, warm refreshments, s’mores, music and light spectacles. 4. Hamilton Lotto (Everyday!) – Chicago Broadway conducts a lottery every day for ‘day-of’ tickets to Hamilton. You can enter each day to get tickets to see this show.
